Warrior Welcome: Mike Arlinghaus
We are excited to announce Michael Arlinghaus as our new Operations Coordinator. Mike will be succeeding Taylor Secrist who retired in December. With a Bachelor's degree in Education from Miami University and a Masters of Educational Leadership from Wright State, Mike brings a wealth of leadership experience and expertise to our district.
Throughout his career, Mike has showcased his dedication to education. His past roles include seven years of teaching elementary physical education at Franklin City Schools, followed by a decade at Waynesville Local Schools, where he taught high school PE, served as Assistant Athletic Director, and managed district custodial and maintenance operations.
Scott Butler, Director of Business, shares his excitement for Mike's hiring, stating, "Mike's diverse background and proven track record in education make him an excellent fit for the Operations Coordinator role. His experience will be instrumental in supporting our district's ongoing efforts to provide exceptional facilities and services for our students."
Brian Dalton, Director of Human Resources, adds, "We are thrilled to welcome Mike to the Lebanon City School District. His passion for education and leadership skills make him a valuable addition to our team, and we are confident that he will contribute greatly to the continued success of our district."
In his own words, Mike expresses his enthusiasm for his new role, "I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of Operations Coordinator at Lebanon City Schools. This is a particularly exciting time to join the team, the district already has some of the premier facilities in Warren County. The ongoing enhancements through the Capital Planning process further enhance this exciting opportunity, and I look forward to contributing to the continued success of the school district."
