Mrs. Paul and Ms. Vaughn Win Project Excellence Awards

Posted on: April 8, 2025
Superintendent Isaac Seevers surprised teachers Amy Paul and Kathy Vaughn with some exciting news - they’ve each won a Project Excellence Award from the Area Progress Council of Warren County!

Mrs. Amy Paul teaches first and second grade English language learners at Bowman Primary. She’s known as a compassionate, dedicated advocate for her students and their families. Her colleagues describe her as someone who works tirelessly each day to ensure her students succeed — not just academically, but in life. “She communicates with families to support academic growth, healthcare needs, daily routines, and more,” her nomination letter reads. “She’s a glowing example to her students and their families, always celebrating their successes with joy and pride.”

Ms. Kathy Vaughn teaches 7th and 8th grade Physical Education at Lebanon Junior High. She’s known as the “heartbeat of the building” — a steady source of kindness, encouragement, and positivity. “Her acts of kindness come naturally,” her nomination letter reads. “In her class, students feel welcomed, supported, and empowered. She has a remarkable way of making everyone feel included, creating an environment where students are encouraged to grow and push beyond their limits — always knowing she’s cheering them on.”

The pair will be honored at a county-wide banquet next month. Join us in celebrating these amazing educators!
