Warrior Welcome to New Food Service Coordinator
We are excited to announce the appointment of Megan Grippa as our new Food Service Coordinator. Megan's journey in the field of nutrition and her dedication to promoting healthy eating habits make her an excellent fit for our district. She officially assumes her role on December 11, 2023, taking over for the retiring Food Service Supervisor, Patt Tibbs, who served the district until her retirement in October.
Megan Grippa is a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati and a registered dietitian. Her professional journey began in 2016 in clinical dietetics, where she honed her skills in promoting nutritional well-being. In 2019, Megan transitioned to school nutrition, bringing her passion for fostering healthy habits to a younger audience. Over the past five years, she served as the Assistant Food Service Coordinator for West Clermont Local Schools, demonstrating her commitment to creating positive food environments for students. In addition to her role as Assistant Coordinator at West Clermont, Megan serves as the Vice President of the School Nutrition Association of Ohio.
Megan expresses her enthusiasm for her new role, stating, "I am truly honored to join the Lebanon School District as the Coordinator of Child Nutrition. It is with great enthusiasm that I step into this role, and I am eager to contribute to the well-being and nourishment of our students."
Director of Human Resources, Brian Dalton, also shares in the excitement, remarking, "We are thrilled to welcome Megan to the Lebanon City Schools family. Her skills and knowledge in the field are truly impressive, and we believe Megan has the ability to make our food service program a model for other school districts in the area." Superintendent Isaac Seevers echoed these thoughts and added, “We are excited about the new and fresh ideas we believe Megan will bring to our food service program.”
Join us in welcoming Megan to Lebanon City Schools and in anticipating the positive impact she will undoubtedly have on our school community.
