Week 9 update
TOMORROW'S NOT A SCHOOL DAY
Today is the last 'school day' this week, and staff is not scheduled to work tomorrow. Students can continue to complete work and offline hours as usual tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday if needed. 20 total hours are due this week. Offline hours are due by SUNDAY night. Students using PLP have been reminded to submit hours.
DEADLINE
I've noticed multiple families are getting in the habit of submitting offline hours on Monday or Tuesday. When this happens, you run the risk of having unexcused hours added to the student's account. It's really helpful when these are submitted on time. It's fine to submit them before Sunday if you're finished adding offline hours for the week. Thank you!
MAP TESTING
I want to thank everyone for very smooth MAP testing this week. I was concerned about at-home testing not going well because there are so many factors out of our control. However, I can tell that students and caregivers performed necessary device tests and that really helped make the testing go well. I know it takes a lot of support and cooperation on the part of the adults at home to support students, and I appreciate all you're doing to help.
GETTING ON TRACK
Just a reminder that if your students aren't on track, now's the time to make a plan to get them on track. Please reach out to me or teachers if we can be helpful in creating a plan that works for your family.
Have a good weekend,
Mark Graler
