Washington DC Trip Update
LJHS Parents,
Let me begin by saying thank you for your patience with regard to the decision to travel to Washington DC this spring with our 8th grade students. As with everything related to our current situation, the decision making process involved weighing the benefits of going with the risks associated with the trip. Our decision is rooted in ensuring the safety of all students and staff who may be traveling with our group. While the numbers in Ohio and our community continue to fall, they are not currently at levels that support what we view as a safe trip. With the timeline for making a decision upon us, we are forced to make the difficult decision to cancel the trip for May, 2021.
A refund will be issued to you in the near future by the travel company. This will be a full refund except for a $25.00 processing fee. All money will be returned in the form it was submitted. For example, if you paid by check, you will receive a check. If you paid by credit card, you will receive a credit on your credit card. If you have questions regarding the refund, please direct those to Classic Student Tours.
Again, we thank you for your patience as we delayed making this difficult decision as long as possible.
